Earth Day Gardening Fun

Join us on the 23rd April for some Earth Day Gardening Fun together with Crofton Park Library.

Rough order of activities (TBC):

• 11am – Children are invited to come to the library to make pinwheels and bird feeders.
  We would suggest that they bring lunch with them.
  This activity could be 1h30 mins

• 12.30noon – We gather the children and we all go to the Railway garden
  with our pinwheels and bird feeders.
• Have lunch in the garden
• 1pm – Grow your own micro-greens Workshop followed by a Growing for Pollinators talk and seed sowing activity.

Learn how to grow your own micro-greens and why they are nutritious and delicious. Plus the Railway Garden will share a short talk about how to grow for pollinators, then everyone gets the opportunity to sow some seeds at the garden, or to take home.
