Celebrating Earth Day 2022

Our Earth Day workshop marked our first event of the year. Delivered in collaboration with Crofton Park Community Library and Wild Rangers, children got to make windmills and recycled bottles into bird feeders. At the garden, we sowed some pea-shoot microgreens and learnt about how delicious and nutritious growing veg and herbs as micro-greens can be. This free planting workshop was made possible thanks to funding received by Wild Rangers to deliver a number of food growing workshops – part of Plant and Share 2022 Food for Life initiative.
