Having launched our tender in July 2018 to secure a contractor willing to take on the landscaping works, it became apparent that very few contractors out there want to take the risk with a community group, despite securing funding. We received some responses but none quite fitted with the bigger vision or couldn’t promise to deliver all of the requirements or in time with our funding deadlines.
